A submission for ATF 7 competition I probably could have done more with time, but I didn't want to overdo it. Lore: To the locals, it is a mystery to how the submarine ended up on the shore, but some valid theories include: 1. It was swept up in a massive storm 2. It traveled up the river, and was displaced in a flood 3. It was transported using large tucks, but was abandoned after the flash. The people that inhabit the house and shop around the abandoned sub take machinery, electronics, and other supplies and sell them to anyone who can find them. The Submarine is an American Halsey class nuclear submarine, it was commissioned near Los Angeles before the flash. One nuclear reactor is still operational, and provides power to the occupants around the sub. SCRIPTED ITEMS: -Lamp -Battery Lamp -Portable Light -Radio -Spotlight -Door -Sub. Lore (WIP): In 2032, the great war began, and Canada was in the sights of the ACMF from the beginning, and was targeted heavily. However, when the bombs dropped, every city with a population over 50,000 was bombed, and the city of Miramichi was spared, since it had a population of roughly 18,000. In the city, there is an air-force base since abandoned for 35 years, and the runway allowed access for any surviving government, or military to land and take refuge. About a good 6 months after the bombs dropped, nuclear winter began to take its toll on the environment. Luckily, the citizens and the military prepared for this by building a large wall boxing in downtown Chatham made out of toppled cars, busses, and anything else they could find to keep out the 10ft+ of snow expected to fall.
